What do you do for your spouse?

Do you do anything special to show your husband or wife how much they mean to you? And I don't mean washing the dishes after dinner. For example, I went through a magazine and cut out any words or says that had to do with love or fatherhood. Then I found a great poem and put it all together in a handmade frame. It showed him how special he is to me and how I am always thinking of him.

I cut out a bunch of words from a magazine but did not put them in a poem. I cut out any word that described him in any way at all. There are words like "dancing", "one-minute man", "cute", "sexy", etc. Then I took a coloured piece of paper and in the centre I glued a picture of my husband. Then I pasted all the words around the picture all lopsided and such. I put it in a picture frame and gave it to him for a Valentine's gift. He really likes it and it sits on our headboard. I showed it to a friend who thought it would be a good idea to do that for your kids. It would really show them how much you love them and certainly boost their self-esteem. It would give them something to cheer them up when they are feeling down. I have yet to do it for my kids but hope to get around to it some day.
