when it comes on spending money,do you spend money extravagantly?or spend it with a little budgetting? well,it really depends on the things that i will buy.coz sometimes, when i like something and it costs a little expensive i'll just look for another store which offers a little much cheaper than that.but when if i found out that they they do have the same price,I will go for the first one. when i want to enjoy, like going to one place.I'll make sure that I'll plan it very well and I'll budget my money for that. and when it comes to food,im not that thrifty and not that spend-thrift.what's important is the food satisfies me. of course,i am not that spend-thrift that I waste my money and just buy things even if i dont need it.I spend my money properly and wisely.I do save some on my bank account.it feels really good if you have savings for your future.but i treat myself sometimes that i wanted to see the fruit of my hardwork. sometimes,i am thrify buying for my self.but when it comes to the people that i love,.am i spend-thrift?^__^..well.,i guess..yes.. how about you?are you a spend-thrift?or too thrifty to spend money?

A few people are thrifty persons I suppose. Most of us are victims of spend-thrift attitude. I usually spend more money in anticipation of money and hence I am always on deficit financing. This problem starts when we do not do budgeting and strictly adhering to the budgets. Like government budget, family budgets become deficit financing - spending more money and earning less money and the difference is made up with borrowing. This will perhaps bring more unhappiness than what comes as happiness when one spends more to acquire goods and services. Therefore the key word is stretch your leg according to the length of your bed or put a longer bed.

I have always been into saving some amount of money which I earn.. I try to spend keeping in mind my budgets.. I have always tried to spend on one item which is the best among others and keep sticking to that item until it worns out... I don't like accumulating a lot of things of the same kind like shoes or watches... That has never been my interest...

savings - saving money today can lead to a brighter future
I know very well that money is a powerful force so I do my best to control it and make sure it works to my advantage. If you keep spending indiscriminately you'll become a slave of money. If you learn how to invest, you'll become a master of money. I prefer to be a master and have money work for me.

You are wise and prudent with your money, and that is a good discipline to uphold. Many people think short-term and spend what they earn. They may not realize the immense power that savings, compounding and investing can have on their financial situation. Someone who consciously saves little by little from young and lets the money grow over many years through proper investment will find that he/she will have handsome savings when he/she grows older, and that may even allow the person to retire earlier than others who only start saving later in life.

Well im neither..I could be both a spendthrift and a thrifty person depending on the stuff i wanna buy, wanna do, and need, but actually, i really go both ways depending on my salary. If i get paid good, i go spend on what i wnat and save.If salary sucks, i look for other opportunities and wait since i dont simply borrow money or blow all my money on the stuff i want but cant easily afford since debt is difficult to deal with but our Jew-run banking system makes it that way................

I am definitely more a thrifty person than a spendthrift. I would say most of the time, I am careful with how I spend my money. I seldom buy things that I don't need, and I spend within my means. Once in a while, I do indulge and spend on something more luxurious or expensive just to pamper myself, but most of the time, I am quite economical in my spending habits. I hold several credit cards, but I've never ever gotten into credit card debt, nor rolled over any payment, and I intend to keep up with this practice. I have been saving since I was in school. When I was in Secondary One, I opened my own savings account in a commercial bank, and started savings from my leftover pocket money. I have been saving for many years and I am glad for that, because with all my years of careful savings and investments, I can say I do not have to worry about having enough for my old age and retirement. And this is all thanks to my discipline in being thrifty and careful use of my money over all these years.

I think I would normally be a spendthrift. I like to spend money, and will spend a lot of money on things. But because of this, I am broke right now, so I hope that I have learned to be more frugal.

I'm a housewife too, oh well that was before I got hired by this cool company. Anyway I think I'm a little bit of both spend thrift and thrifty. I'd rather call myself practical and buy all the things we need. But of course I'm also a woman I need to treat myself sometimes or my husband for being so sweet and loving to me. Have a nice day!!

When it comes to food, I also need food that satisfies, not gonna waste time spending money on burgerking when I can have mcdonald's!!!! Hahahahaha.

In general, I'm a thrifty person and would feel guilty if I spend quite a bit on a particular month. I'm the type who would set aside amount of money to spend in a month. However, there are times that I would spend alot in a shot like buying a computer.

I am bid of both. If its something I need right at that moment I go and buy it if not I would look for the best deal. With clothes (every day) I ususaly waith for end of season sales. in australia we dont have very cold winter so most clothes can be worn all year round so its ok if I get "winter" shirt as I can always wear it. As for food we get the junk mail every week so I can see which store has something on offer and I am lucky as we have all the stores in the shoping center where I do my shoping so I can save that way. For presents I usually ask what the person wants and I buy it.
