Dumb question about my avatar...

OK, I know this is a dumb question but I can't figure it out and I was told more than once the only dumn question is the one you don't ask. So, how can I put a different avatar by my username? I have over 200 points and I see people with much fewer points have a different one than the default. OK, you can really start laughing but where do I find an image to use, do I have to have my own photo to upload? I went through the FAQ's and the Guidelines and couldn't find an answer. I'm sure I probably somehow overlooked like I've already done in stores when I'd have to ask where something was and there it was right under my nose! You can pick on me if you'd like, just answer my question because I'm sick at looking at that dumb thing!

Exactly as the above person told you and remember to delete your previous avatar.You can have any picture on display for your avatar.

There are sites on the internet that cater to just what you want in avatars, anniepa. I recommend www.avatarity.com. They have a wide selection, and they will instruct you on how to size and download your avatar. Then all you need to do is select "edit your preferences," and they will give you the option to change your avatar. You can then upload it to myLot.

Hi there, have you seen some people here in mylot that using some cool avatars?
Then go with them and ask them all regarding your concern buddy.
Ask them how they did their avatar, where they get that and what is the step by step action to upload your own cool avatar also.

Go to Edit Your Preferences on the left hand bar beneath discussions and start new discussion. Where it says "New Avatar" there should be a button that says "Browse".
Hit it and search for the picture you want as an avatar on your computer. When you are done hit submit or update profile (whatever the button is
