the strangest weekend

All right, I don't work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so this is my weekend. When I got home from work there was a note under my door that one of the maintenance men needed to get into my basement. I knew what he wanted so I waited to call him until today. There was a bunch of iggles crap in the cellar: sweatshirts, hats, etc. I told him I would leave it outside. He said he would come get it tomorrow. I hope he didn't count that crap cause my boyfriend sold some of it! Then there was the theft at the laundromat where I work last night. 34 phone calls later, the attendant is calm and my boss wants to know what day's tapes might help with the investigation. I went to register for and get my books for my annual tax preparation class. Yes, I have to take the same class every year, Last year's tax rules. The new ones aren't out when we take classes. So I go there and find out my office manager is in jail for direct depositing a refund into his own bank account, along with some other fraud! I have a half a weekend left. What else could I learn about work on my days off?!

Sounds like you've had an eventful weekend! Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my days off, too. Going to physical therapy on Tuesdays so it doesn't feel like a day off. I've wondered about those tax preparation classes, seems like congress keeps changing the rules right up until tax preparation time. All those phone calls on your day off, you must feel like you never left. My boss went from tax preparer to manager of one of the H & R Blocks. So you never know when one thing might lead to another. Take care

Physical therapy does not sound like fun. It doesn't count as a day off.

No, but compared to your days off, Physical therapy is starting to sound like a picnic. So what would you like to do with your life? You're not happy with the options you have now, and I've been down that road, what options would you like?
