I'm hungry so I'll so I'm going to get all my myLot friends to suffer with me...LOL...! What's your favorite and least favorite fast food restaurant? And what are your favorite items there? I just had the KFC Bowl today and it was SOOOOO yummy! That was an excellent idea to put chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, cheese, and now a biscuit in a bowl and cover it with that delish gravy. It's strange when I think back to my childhood, we had no fast food places around when I was growing up. I was about 11 or 12 the first time I ever had Kentucky Fried Chicken; a friend's dad had gotten some on his way home from the "big city" of Wilkes-Barre and I had a piece and it was so good. It was years before we got any places like that in my one-horse town. Kids today probably couldn't even imagine life without all those drive-thru places they take for granted. So what's your guilty pleasure...a Big Mac or Whopper...I prefer a Wendy's Cheeseburger with everything and a chili with cheese and lots of their hot sauce. Funny how my grandkids and all their friends prefer a burger from Mickey D's to a really GOOD burger done at home on the grill. My granddaughter doesn't eat much meat because it's a dead animal but she loves Mickey"s. I asked her why and she said her mom told her it's fake meat. I said it's not all fake but there's alot of stuff in there besides the ground beef. Maybe we shouldn't go there, we'd probably rather not know what all we're eating at some of these places! Annie

My favorite--Chik-fil-A combo #1 with a Diet Coke. Least favorite--can't think of any. I am trying to totally quit fast food. :(

We go to McDonald's for dinner every Saturday. We go to church at 5 o'clock so when we come out at 6 o'clock it is really too late to MAKE a dinner. The girls and I have taken a liking to the crispy chicken Ranch snack wraps. One night when my husband was away the 3 of us went through the drive thru at 10:00 at night just to get us each a snack wrap. But I decided that they are way too easy to make at home and bought the tortilla bread. We have boxes of chicken fingers, we have shredded Tex Mex cheese, and we have Ranch dressing. Just heat up the chicken in the toaster oven, roll it all together and you have a snack wrap. Really quite simple. The girls can make them themselves and boy, have they been eating them! It's really good when you can figure out how to make at home something you buy in a restaurant, or even grocery store. We picked up a salad at the grocery store a few weeks ago. We ate it in two days so I decided to try and make it at home. Now the girls love mine better than the store's. Ha! We did go to Taco Bell when my husband was away. It is new in town and we hadn't tried it yet. Hubby didn't want to. We actually enjoyed the food. My girls don't like KFC and when we go to Swiss Chalet, they order pizza or grilled cheese sandwich. They don't like eating chicken off the bone with their fingers. LOL! I love chicken, anyway, anywhere (except Burger King!)

I like the spaghetti from Jollibee. I like the hamburgers from McDonalds. fast food offers fast relief from hunger. However, I dont want to always eat in fast food restaurants. I really loved home cooked meals made by my mother. I have eaten in Chowking. Pizzas from Pizza Hut and Shakeys are good. Lasagña from Sbarro is yummy. perhaps your mother has said that these fast food restaurants are using meat alternatives. however, Burger King is offering grilled meat in their hamburgers. I have eaten in Burger King once. there is a difference in taste in eating grilled meat than fried meat. I think grilled meat has less oil.

OK, you're the second one to mention Jollibee. Is that a regional chain because I've never heard of it. I live in Pennsylvania. Sbarro I think I've seen in Florida and Shakey's I've heard of. Annie
