Congratulations to your daughter. You should be proud. My son is 7 and in 2nd grade. He is doing much better this year than he did last year. I am very proud of his working hard to make better grades.

Congatulations! You must be proud of her. My kids are too young for me to be happy about their marks. My older son is 7 years old...is in 2nd grade and loves to a whole lot of things and participate in every activity at school. I like that in him and encourage him in everything I can. My younger one is just 9 months old.The only things I can be proud of him right now are his milestones...lol

Hi, Please convey my congragulations, and also to continue this. This made me remeber one of my friends condition. My friend dropped out from his Master of Business due to failures in his examinations and started his own business and within few years he was selected as young business man of year in that district and now those who had passed MBA and other degrees with higher marks are working under. Few days back we saw and had a dinner together that time he just mentioned one thing that reminded me of this mark. He told me scoring marks in exams do matter more when it come to that person to be a sucessfull in life. It is pratical knowledge here more needed that theoritical knowledge. These are what he said to me. Thanks for good dicussion topic.
