Although we know what happens before harry is born, I think I would enjoy reading the prequel. I'd find more interesting than the sequel. After all, the epilogue was dissapointing... but of course, life without Voldemort or some dark lord around is just normal life... Reading the books, it was really interesting to see everything that had happened before, the causes of that day situations and it's consequences... Snape's story deserves to be told! lol

I do agree in a prequel, we do know things that happened pre HP but to have an in depth look would be fantastic. Sorry to say, confessions now, I haven't even finished the finale. Yes I did stand in line, no I am not going mad, I am just not that ready for it to end just yet. I am not even half way in yet and am really struggling to pick it up. I am an avid book lover and have never found a book to have me this way. What a fantastic imagination and a wonderful woman, JKR is.

Dark in what way. No No don't tell me, I really must finish it. I can't put it off much longer can I really. I honestly think I must be the only person to have started the book when it was released but still not finished.

I don't agree with a prequel since we all know what happened before Harry and the gang were born... I would definitely agree with a sequel or a spinoff stories of the other characters who are equally as interesting as Harry... But sad to say that J.K. Rowling is firm on taking a break from the Harry Potter series... even the HP encyclopedia that she insinuated upon seem unlikely for now...

I don't think that J.K.Rowling will do a prequel to Harry Potter series. But if she does I'll be soooo happy. I love Harry Potter and I don't want to think that I'll never ever read another HP book. That's too sad to be true.
