I started listening seriously to Skid Row only in the last months... I like them a lot...they are my favourite band nowadays. Their first three album are awesome...I prefer Slave To The Grind but I like a lot Subhuman Race too, while I appreciate the first album just for the most famous songs...18 and Life and I Remember You. What do you think about this band?

I think that with the new singer they started doing a lot more commercial songs, far from the sebastian bach material that I like. I've heard some songs from the albums with the new singer and all I can say is... WHY!?! :D I recommend you go to YouTube before buying anything, there you can listen to majority of the new songs. Because if you like the old Skid Row, there's a very high possibility that you'll hate the new stuff :)

I absolutely love Skid Row (only the 2 or 3 first albums though). It's probably among my 10 favorite bands. Although the music is a bit harder than most of the stuff I listen to (Poison, Mötley, Britny Fox etc.), I still love it :) The first two albums are among the best albums ever made by any band (in my opinion of course) but even though Bach sang on the third one as well, I wasn't quite pleased with it. I think that on the third album they started going towards the kind of music they play nowadays. The demos for the third album are as great as the first and second album but the final record is really disappointing. The songs that rock in the demos are pretty lame on the album. For example, I think that the demo of Frozen is one their best songs but the final version sucks. Just check it out and decide for yourself but in my opinion the album was a flop compared to the demos...
