They went up a tree and got too scared to climb down themselves and you had to go climb it and get them?I did this once and i was so mad.It looked very funny because i think i was the one more scared than the cat.Im scared of heights!lol:)

Cats will get themselves into all sorts of situations especially when it's their mad half hour. Climbing up a tree seemed like a great idea at the time, and then when they snap out of their mad half hour they stuck up a tree. The only bad thing about getting a cat out of a tree is that they seem to grow eight legs with very sharp claws. Being my cats personal pin cushion is not my idea of fun. So I usually grab her bag of treats and give it a bit of a rattle. It is amazing how she can quickly find her way down.

No - because I sent my partner up the ladder instead! LOL! Seriously - my oldest cat Sasha (in avatar) ued to do it all the time when he was younger. He's a very big cat, and he used to run up the trees chasing birds or whatever, and then get scared because the branches were giving under his weight, and just cling on at the top and cry:-(( I'm not so god wth height myself, so I used to get my man to go up there - and it did used to look funny to watch them - safely from the ground of couse! LOL! Now, Sasha is old and fat, and he doesn't do much beyond eat and sleep (and snore!), - but we can all still remember his bad old days!!

Oh yes - a cardboard box, a carrier bag - a leaf or a snowflake outside - all produce hours of fun for the cat - and, in turn, provide hours of fun for those of us who love them and watch their tricks!

Yeah, it did happened to me once but it wasn't nesessary for me to climb. My cat was stuck in my neighbour's tree for 24 hours frightened from they're dog and evem wet from the storm from the night before.I tricked it to come down with food (I was sure it was starving).

our cats used to get stuck. at least, they looked scared and wouldnt comedown, but eventually they do. my last cat would get stuck in the lime tree. but its really low (about my chest hight) but the thing is, its a thorny tree, but she didnt seem to get hurt. and when i tried taking her off it shed just hold on with her claws. then when i walk away, shed start crying after me.

Why in the world would a cat go in a tree with picky thorns?Im sure it went after a bird hiding in there. They can really dig their claws in that bark.lol:)

YES! I had to climb a tree to try and get my cat. However, on the way up there to try and get him, he then decided it was time to come down leaving me halfway up a tree. What an episode...
