How much do childcare providers in your area make?

I am trying to decide what a fair price for childcare really is. I make $2.85 and hour for one nephew, and $3.00 an hour for each of my other two nephews. There are so many things to take into consideration, the costs of running the business, how much food, toys, etc. will costs, insurance, etc., etc. I do not want to over charge, but I do want a fair wage. Another consideration is how much time we spend on the childcare business when the children aren't in our homes: Menu and shopping list planning, coupon cutting, activity planning, interviewing, record keeping, tax preparation, cleaning, bulk cooking, shopping, getting licensed/registered.... So, I was wondering how much everyone who actually spends time doing this charges for their childcare services.

For children 6 weeks to 18 months: I charge $90 a week for a full time child (4-5 days a week at least 5 hours a day) and $75 a week for part time (1-3 days per week at least 5 hours). For children 19 months to 36 months: I charge $75 a week for full time (4-5 days a week at least 5 hours a day) and $60 a week for part time (1-3 days per week at least 5 hours). For chidren 37 months and older: I charge $60 a week for full time (4-5 days a week at least 5 hours a day) and $45 a week for part time (1-3 days per week at least 5 hours). If they are here less than 5 hours a day I charge $15 for up to 5 hours (no matter how many hours they are here). I also give a 15% second child discout for families with more than one child in care.

Thank you for your input. I really appreciate it. I hope that others respond so I can get a better idea of what everyone charges.
