Published authors

My dream for years had been to have my writing published. I was able to get some of my poems in small local newspapers. So that can be a place to start. As far as having a book published, I sent to more publishing companies, and had more rejections then I want to mention. It seems they either want someone that already has a "name", or they want you to pay for them to publish your book. Afew years ago I had fallen off a ladder at work hurting my ankle. It put me out of work for a few months and I used the time to search for a place to publish my book. I found Publish America. They publish your book for free (print on demend type place). You have to be willing to try to push the book.

In "Defend God's Word" I try to share what God's Word has shown me about subjects like Prayer, Salvation, Comfort, Jesus, the End Times, and many other subjects. One day I was just messing around and wrote something about Faith. When I was done I liked how it turned out so I wondered if I could write on other subjects. I thought that it would take along time to come up with enough for a book. But once the ideas started to come they just seemed to flow. Before I know it I had my second book. It only took about six months to finish writing the book. This is not based on any one book of the Bible. I have used all of God's Word to inspire this book.
