can't wait for cold weather!!!

i honestly can't wait for it to get cold. really, it's not because i hate summer - i love the heat! but...we have a fireplace in our new apartment, and i haven't had one for about 2 years now, and i really really really want to sit by the fire al warm and cozy!!! I even threatened to turn the ac down to 40 and light one the other day - but my sister just laughed at me and my hubby said i had lost my mind to be wasting air conditioning like that. so i am patiently waiting for the weather to turn!! anyone else feel this way?? who loves to sit by the fire at night??

Hey. LOL, we the opposite, we cant wait for hot weather, summers on its way here in New Zealand, and its going to be awsome as always, as we live right on the beach... About the fire, we like to sit by the outside fire at night, wether it being winter or summer...

We live close to the beach here too, so we do spend a lot of time doing big camp fires style cookouts too!! It's just too cold for me in the winter to go outside though!

I like the warm wheather.In the winter i have to wear so many clothes and wrap up because I must have low iron becuz I really can't take the coldness.I normally stay in the house where its nice and warm.

That's the only reason why I like cold weather. We have a woodstove here. I like coming inside to the cozy warmth and the smell of wood burning, it's relaxing and pleasant. My old house had a fireplace, we only used it around christmas time and the family used to sit in front of it to open presents.
