Is anyone alse having problems to log into their msn messenger or is it just me?

I've been trying to log into my msn account for the last twenty minutes, and it keeps asking me to install the new version. I click the install button, but it then says there's some kind of problem and I have to start everything again... Are you experiencing the same? Have you already downloaded and installed the new windows live messenger? How good/bad is it?
