I am now enjoying Alaska

On Sept 8 I came to Alaska for a week's vacation. So far, it has been just fascinating. I toured a gold mine (Elderado)I toured the town of Fairbanks and other assorted sites. I will be returning home on Saturday the 15th. I will update all of you then. Thanks for looking, Gary

i m quite keen about the polar lights,i think it's one of the most beautiful scene of nature.i heard that it could be seen in alska, north canada and somewhere around the polar.have you seen any polar lights?if so,what do they like,what color and shape are they?and when and how did you find them?what is the best time to see the polar lights?thans 4 help

Hi Metaldetective, and you're so lucky to be able to have such a great trip, congratz! I have always wanted to be able to visit Alaska, and hope to be able to one day. the nature there is amazing, the mountains, the sky, the wild life, and I am dreaming to go there as soon as possible. Please share photos with us, and stories when you have time after you're back home.

Well by now you are back from Alaska,but I sure hope you enjoyed your trip. I have always wanted to go to Alasks and I think I would like to take a cruise there so that I could see the wonderful wild life that is available to see there.
