I don't usually prepare breakfast coz were only three in the family me and my two kids. They get up late coz there school time is in the afternoon. Thats why when I get up I usually go to the market to prepare lunch sometimes when the food I prepare is not complicated It only takes an hour but when I cook more than one recipe It took 2 hours but I make it sure to be finished before lunch time.

You are spending way too much time perparing food during your day. I spend about 10 minutes preparing breakfast, maybe 20 minutes on lunch and usually about 30 minutes to 1 hour perparing dinner.

You do spend a lot of time in the kitchen! That is great that you take such care to prepare meals for your family. Since my husband is gone, my daughter and I usually make small and quick meals. It usually takes about 30 minutes for preparation and cook time. In the mornings, she has a bowl of cereal of toast before school. During weekends, I try to make her something much better if she wants. Most times she doesn't and will settle for cereal or a bagel. She is not here for lunch, so I make my own very quickly, usually a sandwich or soup.

Breakfast usually takes me about 30 minutes to prepare. Lunch maybe about 45 minutes unless I'm the only one home then I'll just eat left overs or a sandwich. Dinner might take 30 minutes one night and 2 hours another night. It just depends on what I'm fixing that night. I love to cook. So I dont usually mind the time spent in the kitchen.

That's phenomenal! I'm really impressed with your dedication and devotion to your family. During the winter time I am more able to bear the heat in the kitchen, so I do not mind spend endless hours preparing foods for my family. However during these very hot summer months it's a little difficult. And, my husband insists that I stay out of the kitchen on the hottest days. He says that he would rather buy pre-made foods from the store than have me in a miserable state. And, who am I to argue with such a sweet man. If I had it my way I would spend much more time cooking. And, perhaps I will once the weather cools down. As is, I spend an hour or so daily preparing dinner. And, maybe thirty minutes for lunch. We do not eat breakfast very often. And, when we do, it's simply cereal. Not much more.
