Three young children were left in a central Kentucky home after their mother and another woman were shot to death by an intruder, according to a 911 call released Wednesday

Those poor kids. What a terrible thing to have happen. I hope they have family members who will take them in. Hopefully they will find the scum who did this.

i saw that story on the news. How hard that must have been. At his age, I was impressed with how well he handled himself. I also heard an interview with the dispatcher who to the call. She was so nice to him. She made sure he was ok and told him to stay on the line while he was to wait for the state police. I hope and pray that that child will not be damaged by these events.

Wow, I can't imagine how scared the kids were. They had to have hid in a closet or room for a long time. That is so sad. I hope they find the people that did this.

I just heard the 911 tape being played on MSNBC and it just about broke my heart. That poor child. My nephew just turned 8 and to think of him making a call like that just brought me to tears.
