RPG - Final Fantasy (thes kind of games - turn based)
RPG Adventure - Metal Gear kind of stuffs
Strategy - I SIM CIty 4, C&C play Frozen Throne and DOTA
First Man Shooter - Quake, Cstrike, Halo
Racing - Grand Turismo, Need For Speed

I myself am a fan of the First Person Shooters, good example of what I would play regularly would be something like SWAT 4, Ghost Recon or Rainbow Six.
