The Secret - My results

So I've know the secret for about a year now. I've used the law of attraction and I feel that it's brought a few things into my life, one that I want to share.
I did what the guy in the movie said to. Come up with a believable goal and focus on already having met that goal. See yourself at the end result. So I wanted $100,000. And not eventually....I wanted it this year. Sounds like I might be asking a little too much, but I wanted it anyways. At the time I started focusing on this, we were renting a house on a lake in Michigan. It's not anything fancy - 70 years old and had taken a beating. Well one day out of nowhere I asked the landlord what he'd sell it for. He didn't know what it was worth so he said $100,000 and I said what about $90,000. He said ok and I bought it. When you buy a house you get it appraised. Well, think of my surprise when the appraisal came back at $210,000. We are now selling and if I can do so by the end of the year that will be....oh lets see....over $100,000 profit.
Hmmm....it looks like you just might get what you ask for.
Only, it wasn't just as simple as asking for it. I saw myself with $100,000 in the bank. I saw myself using that money to create a lifetime a wealth. Then I saw myself on vacation...for a long time.
So you tell me what you think - Coincidence? Or The power of the Law of Attraction.

Congrats MrsKosha. As the bible says, "ask and you'll be given" and "do not worry about tomorrow... let tomorrow worry about itself...". In my opinion, the "universe" that the secret has been talking about is actually the forces of Good and Evil. Of course, positive thoughts are of God while negative thoughts are of the Devil.

Very well said. "The Secret" just calls it "The Universe" so as not to offend some people (as some people don't believe in God). For you and me, its God. For others, its up to them. :)

I am trying so hard to do this right now. I have read the book all the way through one time. I started reading it a second time around & have stopped. I made vision boards. I chanted stuff in my head when I felt something coming on that I knew was negative. So far it hasn't worked for me. I don't know what I am doing wrong. Maybe I have not given it long enough.

One thing I have learned is to celebrate the little stuff. When I have a negative thought, i immediatly laugh at myself, because I know that all things pass. I really will be okay. My family really will be okay. It's not something you can just do until you get what you want. You have to learn to live happy. To just be happy. Then all the good stuff will come your way. I signed up for this email program from Mike Dooley (one of the people featured in the book and the movie). It's called Notes from the Universe. Every morning, monday through Friday, there is a message in my email box from him, and it really sets the tone for my day. They leave a smile on my face every single time I read one of them.
I haven't received every single thing I have wanted yet either, but I know it's coming. I have been picking out counter tops and tile in my head for my new home. We already have the land, the house is coming soon!!!!!

Yeah ive seen the secret several times. I think It was a great documentray or what ever you call it. But I dont know if it works or not ive tried it on different things and sometimes it works and sometimes it dosnt. I know it works for smaller stuff like when in the morning you tell yourself your going to have a good day AND most of the time it works then. But it hasnt worked for getting money has it worked for anyone else.

Indeed it's the law of attraction. I've recently changed the balance on a statement I got for just over 500 bucks. I've shifted the decimal point to reflect over 500,000 bucks.
I intend to have this money in my possession this year.
My only challenge is maintaining focus 2 and 3 months after deciding that I want it. I tend to lose focus at times perhaps after about 3 or 4 weeks focusing on something. Whenever I'm steadfast, I get whatever it is that I want.

wow..that's terrific. After I read the book, I was really wondering, is it really working? so I decided to try to prove it. That day I was going to see my parent, they live in another city but it was like 2 hours away by car. I booked a travel agent car, I usually asked for the number one seat, it right besides the driver coz I don't like to seat next to other people but turn out I forgot to asked it. When I was came to the travel agent they told me that the number one seat is already booked. I still have an hour away from my schedule. Suddenly i remember about "The Secret ", I imagined how comfortable and enjoyable to have my seat, I even believe that already have the seat. When i checked in for my tickets and voila..they said that the number one seat are canceled, and it's available for me. It maybe simple example, but it really amazed me, I live with almost no hesitation to have anything that I want.

Wow, MrsKosha, that is truly an amazing story, and one that makes me smile! I learned The Secret probably about 6 months ago, and I have seen results that truly did amaze me. I do not think that it was a coincidence that you got what you focused on and intended to attract. I truly do believe in the law of attraction and I am happy to see that you have been using it and it's been working for you.
I have a goal too of getting in a position wherein I can live in the tropics and open a business there that will bring in $40K annually (give or take). $40K in those places is a lot, probably about 200-300K in America. Doors have been opening up for me, and I am well on my way.
Congratulations again on your $100K. I think that's awesome!
