Books Vs. Ebooks

Which would you choose? Books or Ebooks? Considering the fact that you need to pay for buying books or wait for a while to get them from libraries and that you can get ebooks online for free. Which would you prefer? Which do u feel more comfortable with?

i like ebooks, because they are free, and now i have no extra money to buy books. haha. and i think it updates very fast, so i can see new pages everyday. it has a bad way, i have to pay more expense of electricity to see ebooks online. but i will buy books too, because i like reading a book before going to bed. it makes me calm and i like the smell of new books.

I perfer ebook as it doesn't take physical place to store and easy to find it out on the disk by search skill. If you have lots of books, you must spend some time to arrage them well and prevent them become erode. Another advantage of email is that you can search the topic you are interested in quickly, you can search a key word in pdf ebook. But searching in paper book is so difficult.

I am not a great fan of Ebooks myself. I do like to hold a book and read. i don't think printing them out is the same either. With having such a huge story like Harry Potter, I like the atmosphere when waiting for the store to open gone midnight, something that can not be experienced with an Ebook.

For book about the technology I like the ebook as the technoly moves forward so rapid that we must use a new version every few years. If we use book, we will have lots of same book with different version/edition. But with ebook, when the new version ebook is out, then just delete the old one and ues the new one. LOL. easy to maintain. But for books whose material seldom change, such as literature etc, having a paper book is also very good.

If I want to read a nice fantasy novel or any fictional stories I'd rather read them as a book. On the other hand, tutorial books like Guides and other for computers and other "how-to's" I would prefer them as an e-book.

Well I am completely biased I am going to say because I am all for ebooks. I write ebooks and the ebooks I write are top quality ebooks that I sell on ebay. I put my all into writing them because I am completely passionate about writing and feel if someone is going to buy an ebook they deserve the best quality. A lot of the ebooks sold on ebay are not top quality and that bothers me. I only charge 0.99p it is not a lot for a decent quality ebook. Also with a paper book you have to use paper and with an ebook it saves the environment and I like that aspect because it is downloaded to your computer.

Well...It is true that the real pleasure of reading a book is one you are holding it in a physical form with you but now in this electronic age, many books which you find electronically aren't found in physical hard-bound copies. As in my case,I have to take help from a lot of books regarding C++,Programming, website developing,PHP etc...and these are found mostly in E-books only.
