The Little Things

I have 3 different comic strips sent to my inbox; Garfield, Family Circus and Cathy. I usually let them build up for a couple of days and then I will sit down and read them on a particularly stressful day. Just for a few minutes I can laugh and forget about whatever has been bothering me.
What kinds of little things do you do that make you smile?

I have made movies out of pictures using windows movie maker. The movies are of my family and friends. When I need a smile I watch one of my movies. Then I have all my family near me and enjoy watching us making the memories we have made.

That is a really good idea! I have so many pictures that we had to buy an extermal hard drive to store them all!

Well dear, it happens and what i do, mostly i want to go out f or strol in fresh air and fresh air touching face make me feeel lighter
And when i am not in position to go out, i read my SMS on my cellphone which are there, send SMS To friend, Check my inbox , and read old males , i have some funny and intresting clips save on my harddisk, watch them OR call any friends
And if i am home then play with kids, their activities make u smile

Watching my children play is one of my all-time favorites. I actually just got home from both of my boy's football games.

i just watch and listen to my little nephew and it already makes me smile a lot. ^__^ funny sms messages and emails makes me smile too. i also read comics in newspapers and that makes me smile too. my favorites are some local comic strips, Calvin and Hobbes, hagar the horrible, blondie, dennis the menace, brenda starr, archie, and garfield too. ^__^

Hello moneyandgc, There are a lot of little things that I do to make me smile.
Reading emails. I received daily quotes and inspirational stories on my email from website that I am subscribe in. Some also coming from relatives and friends.
Feeding my pets. Just to see my pet dog wagging her tail when I feed and pet her. Also looking at the aquarium and feeding my pet fishes. They would follow my finger where I point them. :-)

You have some good ones! I don't have pets because we travel so often, but I think the daily quotes would work well for me! I think my husband has something called Word of the Day, or something close to that. Every day they send a new uncommon word to learn along with its definition.
