Why is it that my referrals haven't receive an invitation to join myLot ?

I have tried submitting a number of referrals but until now they haven't receive an invitation from myLot as promised ? I don't know what happened. How long will it take for them to receive an invitation ?Will the invitation come from myLot or I have to make a personal invitation to them ? Just asking. Any experiences ?
