How wisely do you spend?

Are you really careful in spending money? Do you ever analize your spending pattern.I would like to suggest the following in this matter.
Keep only sufficient amount for the day's axpenses in your purse. Carry your debit card with you for emergency requirement. Never use your credit card unless it is definitely an unavoidable situation.Be prompt in paying your credit card bills within the due date whenever you use it.Plan your monthly expenses and try to implement it at any cost. Prioritise your spending. Many people have the habit of shopping when they are alone or out of mood. When you are hanging out with friends, take less money with you and opt for window shopping always. Keep all your savings in a seperate account which helps you realise your efforts in saving. Make a habit of recording your expenses which helps you to avoid unnecessary expenses.

In fact this is a great idea, i've being doing this and it has yield great success in my financial formation.
one more thing i do it any form of business money is separate from my personal account. however i find it a bit difficult to keep the expenses for basic necessities that i purchase due to the fact that i see that amount as insignificant amount and this really affect my budget and it goes a long way to affect my total expenditure record which doesn't tally with my income record.
you've suggested a good idea.
