its disheartening to share this, but unfortunately last month i lost my favorite mobile phone (motorola L6). to my surprise i lost it from my home, during the engagement day of my brother-in-law. as their were so many guests in house, someone used this oppurtunity to pick up my phone from my almirah. have you ever lost your phone or had similar experiences?

It’s rather sad and surprised to know that you had lost your cell phone under such an incredible situation where all the guests invited were supposed to be relatives and friends. Moreover I consider it to be an intended act because someone purposely took it out from your almirah. So far I never have experienced of losing any cell phone. Most probably I am quite lucky all the time. Who know I might experience the same thing as you one day lol...

Oh I did twice..because I keep coming backwards and forwards from New York to London..I mean they were just cheap second hand ones, but still, very annoying to lose them and so now I don't even bother having one. No one would phone me on them lol anyway. I have more fun on my laptop at least. Well that is much larsger and I make sure I DON'T lose that lol. I can't afford to lose a 1,000 bucks toy lol.

Ditto,my phone was stolen 3 years ago.The phone was stolen when i was queuing for bus. That day, many people were rushing in and i was not aware when someone banged on me intentionally. When i realized that i lost the phone while checking the pocket,i can't do anything about it .Even though i'm very sure that the thief was sitting in the same bus.I can't help to stare around to look for suspicious face but in vain. All of them gave me a clueless look. The phone is a memorable gift from my dad.It was my first mobile phone and i lost it ..Damm the thief.Even the phone is not valuable,i can't help to feel sad over a month.lol

Yes, I lost my mobile phone when I was a high school student. I believe that it slip in the pocket of my school uniform. That was the last time that I lost because from that time, I just put it inside my bag or I used mobile holder to avoid slipping of mobile phone. I have learned my lesson. :)

No, ive never lost my phone but to be honest i wish i did it would force me to get another one then, the phone i have is rubbish but i never get round to getting a new one. I dont think i could lose my phone or even get it stolen if i tried, if someone did steal it they would probably put it back with money on top of it just to take it back lol.

I have never lost my mobile phone & I hope I never do. It would be a real nuisance, as it is tied up with a contract with telstra. Do you think someone stole your phone, or was it just an accident? This must be very disheartening for you.

hi gharinder! ^__^ yup. i have experienced losing a cellphone. and its much disheartening coz it was my first ever cellphone my mother bought me because i had to go far away for my college and we needed an easy way of communication. i left it in the taxi i took from the airport to a terminal. i was so depressed then but i got over it and what i did was save all my allowance from my scholarship and used it to buy a new cellphone. after that i took good care of it and never left it unattended anywhere. ^__^

Yes, I lost one of my cell phones last year when I was at a scenic spot with my colleagues. I placed my cell phone on one of the tables because I wanted to take some photos and later I forgot to pick it up from the table and then I went down the mountain to the gate of the scenic spot. After I found my cell phone lost, I immediately went back to the place, but it could no longer be found there. I was so upset for the loss of the phone as I had so many phone numbers of my friends and my colleagues. Sigh...

yes, i had lost my very first bought celphone (the first ones i had was all just 2nd hand phone given to me by my mom & sister). it was so light and small that i hardly noticed that it's not in my capri pants' pocket anymore. i was so disorganized that time, coz i've been thinking about budget and problems and all.. so when i got home, that's when i started looking for my mobile phone.. in my pants' pocket, but already gone :(

yes. i already lost my phone but only once and somebody took it inside my bag. my phone was Nokia N80 and the worst thing is I bought it brandnew and I only used it for a day then somebody took it inside my bag. I bought it sunday afternoon and I lost it the next day afternoon and that was monday. One more thing is I bought a 2gig memory card same day i bought my Nokia N80 to replace the 128MB memory card. One week after, I bought again a new Nokia N80 then after 3 days, i upgraded the firmware using nokia PC suite and there is a warning that says the phone must not be unpluged from pc or should not be turned off while upgrading or else the phone will not turn on. then the second worst thing that happened was my phone was unplugged by my cousin in my pc coz i went outside to buy something while upgrading my phone's firmware and my cousin though that I am already done with upgrading so he unplugged my phone. Then it happened. My phone did not turned on again. So I brought my Nokia N80 to Nokia Care Center for them to fix it. Up to now, it is still not yet fixed coz Nokia called me and they told me that they need to replace something inside my Nokia N80 for it to work again but unfortunately, they dont have the stock of that part that is needed to be replaced so they are still waiting for the delivery of that part. They told me that they might fixed my phone after two weeks... I think N80 is not the right phone for me. hehehe. thats the first and the worst thing happened to my mobile phone. ?

Never permanently lost a phone, but I came very close to doing so. It was when I was at college. I'd just finished working in the computers room and was heading to get something to eat before my next class started. I felt weird, and it took a minute to realize that I was missing the weight I'd normally feel from the phone. I had been silly enough to put it on the desk when I was working and had left it there. Fortunately a student was honest enough to hand it in to the staff, so I was able to claim it back. I was a bit panic-struck though when I first noticed it missing.
