When did your child crawl or walk?

My son could roll over from back to belly when he was 5 days old. He would just jerk his little leg as hard as he could until he got up on his side, and then he would go the rest of the way over from there. He hated sleeping on his back, and since we wouldn't lay him down on his belly, he had to get there himself. It was the funniest thing I've ever seen. He sure didn't roll like most babies. :) He started army crawling at around 4.5 months or so, we thought he would be an early walker. But then he started working on his vocabulary instead. He took his first unassisted steps at 11 months old, but then quit even attempting to walk. He didn't start walking all the time until he was 16 months old.

Our first starting crawling around 8 months and then walked around 13 months. our second had hip displasia when she was born. her left hip was dislocated when she came out. she did 6 weeks in a full body cast and then was in a brace that held her legs up and out so her hip could heal. even with all of that she crawled at 9 months and walked by 14 months. we just had our son, he is almost 8 weeks old. already he is wiggling around pretty good and seems like he wants to roll over. I'm thinking he might do things early but you never know. He has two big sisters to keep up with.

lol...same here. My older son was born 3 weeks early. Crawled around 8 months and walked around 11.5-12 months. My second one is pretty fast in everything. He's almost 10 months now and he's standing and takes a step or two. I'm sure he'll be walking in a few weeks. Btw..when was your second daughter born? Just curious. She seems to be around the same age as my second son.
