I was doing a study on connaught place, delhi and found it most unusual. The whole area has no demarcations whatsoever but there are place where the rich may flock and then, there are places where poor ones shop for stuff and these do not mix. Also the middle circle looked quite suspicious and more of a back lane to me than a functioning road. Please comment and add any other views you may have.
