My daughter has a TON of hair. Unfortunately most of it goes forward into her face. So I've had to cut it once already. I had to cut it yesterday and now that she wiggles more, it made it interesting. I try not to cut straight across because that is impossible with her. So I pull the hair up over her head and cut at an angle to give it more of a layered look. She just moved too much this time. I cut a little more than I would have liked. Anyone have any interesting or funny haircutting stories?

My 7 month old has had 2 haircuts already. She is hard to do because she is always trying to look at you while you are cutting.
Once when my son was 2 I was buzzing his hair and he moved his head really fast and I cut his hair if front all the way to his scalp. I ended up having to COMPLETELY shave his head bald cause he looked so silly.

I don't like cutting my son's hair either. You would think it wouldn't be so hard for me, since I've cut countless other little kids' hair. My son is harder, though. He's so busy looking at me that he makes it hard to do his hair.
Usually I end up cutting his hair three or four days in a row, before I get it the exact way I want it.
I find that if I bribe him with grapes or banana slices or something like that, it sometimes makes him sit still better and longer.

I don't have funny hair-cutting story, but when I was young in my twenties, my brother-in-law used to help cut my hair. Cutting hair was his hobby. He only helped cut hair for free for his friends if he was asked to...
