Physician to manage your or your kids meds? I am so suprised at the rate that people let a primary physician manage meds!!! Psychiatrists keep up to date on medications, the new and the old. Psychiatrists know the possible side effects and well as drug interactions without leaving the room to go look it up. They are aware of how long it takes these drugs to show benefits and such. Psychiatrists are trained in mental health and know what is what, so why do people let their primary doctor manage there meds, when they didn't do extensive training in mental health? Anyways, that are my thoughts, and would love to hear from others. I don't want to offend anyone with my opinion, so please don't take offense
