ust found out.. AMD is launching 4 Athlon 64 bit dual-core processors today, a few days after Intel announced their launch. However, the AMD processors are priced much higher than the Intel counterparts. AMD claims to be using better technology, and promising better performance. Intel has priced it's processors from $ 241 to $ 530, whereas AMD indicates prices to be around $ 1000. Pretty steep, huh? The main benefit of the dual-core technology being used is less power consumption, less heating, and better performance. So, all the game buffs, get ready for a new revolution!!

Although both the companies r competitors , no one can really say that one is better than the other. But the price differece is something that can really get our eyes on them.
