Just thought I would share some haikus that I wrote. For the uninitiated, a haiku is form of poetry inspired by the ancient Japanese poetry art form hokko. The primary characteristics are: 1) It has 3 lines. 2) The first line has 5 syllables, the second 7, and the third 5 again. Here are 3 haikus. I will post more when as I go through my old writings and find more or when I write new ones. I will be very impressed if someone can guess what the last one is talking about. Broken heart yonder. Life is empty and devoid, Love does not answer. War lives once again. Death rides naked and merciless, Men turn a deaf ear. Intruder Alert. Greek tragedy replayed. Blue death imminent.

I love haikus :) I think I'll write a couple right now. I like yours, especially the first one. The last line, 'love does not answer' is purely brilliant.
