I used to sell a lot of stuff (mostly my kids clothes) on ebay and then I stopped for a while. Then I got bags of clothes from my husband's cousin for my daughter most with tags on it so I went through them and put on ebay the clothes that were too small for her or just not our style. Anyway, I took me like 5 hours to take the pictures, load them on the computer, write the descriptions, I have a few bids already but I think even once the auctions are over - it's just so time consuming selling on ebay.

Hi, I started selling on ebay nine months ago in my spare time just to have something to do that I could make extra money. I do rather well most weeks, I sell silver jewelery and now because money is tight I have started selling off my kids old clothes too. I find it very rewarding, especially when I can withdraw paypal money and buy my kids some new clothes. Yes it is time consuming getting them listed, I think that is the longest part of it, but I usually bring my laptop into the living room and I can do my listings while listening to the tv at the same time, that way I dont realise the time going by.

yea, selling on ebay can be time consuming. However I enjoy it. I use auctiva to put my auctions up. I also use a standard format that I copy and paste into each auction, and customize it for that specific item. I usually list a few things at a time, so it never seems like it takes me that long to put things up.

You are right, I listed a 14 piece lot recently, and it took a couple of hours. I have two more lots to list I already took the pictures, and I wrote the descriptions up already. I had one auction completed yesterday so I am going to list my items tomorrow.

I know exactly what you mean..I have done this also quite a few times...Its rewarding though, knowing that these clothes are going to get used and they not just going to be wasted...Kids grow so fast.
