Dravid quits from Captaincy!!Was he a successful Captain?

Dravid quit from the Captain's post of Indian cricket team. Is it a loss for the indian team. What will be reason for his quitting. How do you access his captaincy. Who will be the next captain & why?

I really don't feel that he was successful in his captaincy stint, he had more losses than wins in his years as captain, even though he did well in his captaincy, that did not transform in success rate for india.

Dravid was not the best but one of the successful captain india ever had. I think there is political pressure on him to quit his job as a captain. Next captain can be ganguly or sachin. Because they are the only experienced player in team who can handle the pressure of Team India
