What can cause daily eye twitching??

For a little over a week now my eye has been twitching. its not constant, but it is daily and it happens quite a bit throughout the day. I wonder what could cause this? anyone else have this happen?

I've heard it's caused by stress. You might see an eye doctor though. AT PEACE WITHIN ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~
