Jpop and japanese bands seem to be gaining popularity in the U.s. Do you like it? If so, what bands?

Not only in the US, it's gaining in Sweden as well. Dir en Grey had a concert here a couple of weeks ago! :3
As for favourite bands and artists, I really like Gazette, Miyavi, Gackt, Shiina Ringo and Anna Tsuchiya. I'm more into J-rock than J-pop, but both work pretty well. :3

Not everyone I'll mention plays j-pop but this is my list of japanese artist I listen to:
-OLIVIA a.k.a. Olivia Lufkin (Lost Lolli & Cloudy Dreamer rocks xD)
-Maaya Sakamoto (beautiful voice*_* Shounen Alice is her best album)
-The Pillows (did you watched FLCL;)?)
-Suga Shikao (good but little sleepy xD)
There are also people who have good singles like Orange Range, Ai Otsuka, Utada Hikaru (Or should I say "The J-pop Queen Utada Hakaru" xD) etc. etc.
