Do you slice your own pizza?

Every time we order pizza, seems they have gone a little crazy with the pizza cutter. Some slices will be very large, while others very tiny. And, inevitably, I get stuck with the tiny pieces on my half of the pizza. Doesn't seem fair to me. I try to even things up best I can, but then end up with a very crooked looking pizza and smeared toppings.
So, I was wondering, would it be possible to have the pizza delivery place, just send out the pizza without slicing it? Have you ever done that? Maybe that way I could cut more even slices of pizza, so that everyone could get their fair share. What do you think?

i have enver had this problem but i feel that if it means that much to you you should ask them nicecly not to cut becuase you would prefer to cut it up yourself into the slices that you want it so that everyone gets there equal share of the pizza pie!!!!!

I don,t know if it's the place where you order, but I never had a problem with pizza. it seems like every slice are equal. But if at your place they arent good at slicing, yes they should live that to the customers.

It doesn’t matter to me- My daughter is always the first one to pick her piece- and she takes the Biggest piece in there- : ) she loves to do that- We aren’t worried about equal as there is always leftovers- so no one leaves hungry.
I sometimes end up cutting it again though- but only because they are in such a hurry and don’t cut all the way through. It’s ok though.
Why don’t you ask them to not cut it and you will. I would still think that you get the same amount- as you guys get different things on each side.

Hi beautyqueen!I worked in a pizza place for 8 years before my daughter was here.We had a special pizza cutter that would evenly cut the pieces depending on the size of the pizza.Seems like this pizza place is using the old standby of cutting:hand cutting which makes it always uneven sliced, very annoying!!lol.I use to make alot that customers ordered and asked for it not to be sliced because they wanted to cut the slices bigger or so.Its no problem at all.in fact its easier on the worker, lol, they just have to stick it in the box when its out of the oven instead of having to cut it.I would ask them to not cut it,there should be no problem with it at all.Yes go for it!!!,peanutjar.

Alot of the time, I ask them to cut it into squares instead of the big slices. Most of them will do it. They seem to do it very nice, I think more because they have to stop and figure out how to do it.

When I used to work in a pizza shop (many moons ago), we sliced out pizzas evenly because we did have people who called and complained before. We even had people who when the called to order that asked us if they could please slice their own pizza. We probably had 15 regulars who sliced their own.

I think you would ask to them not to cut the pizza, I am pretty sure they will do it and you will slice the pizza like you want, maybe they are not paying attention to the size of the slices, you would to look for other place if they can't do it, I never have do it because I always buy just a slice of me because my family can't eat pizza for medicals reasons.

I always forget to ask that when I order it out. Usually the joints cant slice worth anything! I once got a little dibit slice that could be fed to an infant! But I understand the cutting, from the efficiency stand point. If it was me, I'd be trying to get the slices exactly even ;p
