What's the silliest weight loss claim that you've ever heard? Did the claims convince you to buy the weight loss product being advertised? Did the weight loss product work the way they said it would? One of the silliest weight loss commercials that I've ever seen was for a product that claimed you could eat the foods you love and still lose weight. I'm sure they're telling the truth if those foods happen to be steamed veggies and rice. But, for the rest of us who like real food (meats, mashed potatoes and treats) it's not going to work. Don't get me wrong. I'd love to eat a box of cookies every day and still lose weight. But, I know that's not going to happen. I'm way past deluding myself that I can ever lose weight with bad food habits. I don't want to be hypocritical and say that I've got the best track record when it comes to food. But, bogus claims like "eat anything you want and still lose weight" makes it really hard to stick to a sensible diet. Just sometimes I wish these diet pill people would stop lying to their customers and start telling a little bit more truth. What do you think?
