I prefer oatmeal, especially at work. Don't have to worry about adding any milk to it. Just add a little hot water and breakfast is ready. Just had my oatmeal this morning matter of factly.

It is no secret that boosting metabolism is a good thing. Metaphorically, it is similar to saving money, quitting smoking, working out, etc..... the only difference is .....it is much much easier.!!!!!!!!! there are certain foods that are capable of pumping up your metabolism and all you really have to do is susbtitute them for some of the less healthy foods that you consume. Oatmeal is famous for breaking down very slowly in the stomach , which is good, because this causes less of a spike in insulin.Production of insulin triggers storage of fat , which in order to take place , sends signals to the body to slow down your metabolism. cereal is another food grain which is having a low glycemic index. and finally the calcium in milk is a metabolism trigger as well. at present i am taking oatmeal with my glass of milk but before i used to take cereals .

I prefer oatmeal because it can be made with water. I am not able to drink milk. It disagrees with me. I would like to eat cereal but it's out of the question. Lloyd

this is such a hard one , but I will have to go with cereal. I could eat cereal all day and night. It requires no work, just pour you milk add cereal and go. I love oatmeal, but I hate prepearing it even if only takes a couple minutes.
