beauty vs brain

Of course beauty and brains can go together. Even in show business there are many beautiful women who are quite brainy and even use their brains. There are also those who have gotten so used to getting by just on their looks that they don't bother to use their brains and as the old saying goes "use it or lose it." I have a science background and I have known many beautiful women who got degrees in fields where if you don't have some brains, you just aren't going to make it. I have limited my response to women because you said beauty and I don't think of men as being described that way, but everything I have said would also be applicable to handsome men.
