Well, since hitting college life once again for my third year, I actually have an appartment. I live with 3 others, my partner being one of them but we've been getting along well. Since moving in I've made a few meals and I've had to create new ways to use prebreaded chicken. Trust me, not an easy task. But we did come up with a few things. One being something my partner thought of and all credit goes to her. Breaded chicken with rice 1-1 1/2 cups of breaded chicken cut into small pieces 2 cups of plain instant rice (enough for about four servings) a can of either mushroom or cream of chicken soup. Which ever you prefer Start out by cutting your chicken of course and spreading it out on a pan to place in the oven. Spice your chicken now. I used garlic pepper seasoning but you can spice it up as you like. Start the water for the rice. Might as well follow the directions for the rice. Directions vary for each kind. After the water for the rice has boiled put the rice in, stir a few times, cover and set off the heat. Or do it however you're used to. In another pan start the soup cooking after the rice is set to the side to cook. For a thicker soup use less water. Ours was thin but was great anyway. Place chicken in oven until warm (if store bought prebreaded chicken) or cooked all the way through. Remove from oven when done. When rice is done spoon into a bowl, ladle the soup over top of it, and sprinkle the baked chicken over rice and soup. And there you have it! A simple and filling meal!
