I don't, I am just concerned that it may not be good for them. Plus, I don't care for the 'begging' that comes along with giving them table scraps. I use to give my basenji Roscoe table scraps years ago. He lived to be 14, so I know it's OK, I just don't do it with the two I have now.

Well when we first got him we would but never directly from the table and children were always told to never hand him anything directly to put it in his bowl. That way he would learn not to beg from the table and never take things out of a child's hands. Well here we are 5 years later and he gets alot of table food whenever, where-ever LOL I guess we just got lazy in parenting him!

Some times when we have left over food we'll give it to the dog. Tonight I let her lick some stuff off of my plate before I put it in the dishwasher. I had some food with hot sauce on it. The dog liked the scraps, but she wasn't brave enough to lick up the hot sauce. LOL

Yes we do give our dogs table food, also dogs like it and enjoy it.Also with table food we give dogs their required food if we see short fall of ingriends in their diet.My dogs alo eat raw vegitables with joy. There favourite is red pumpkins and green peas. Also they eat cucumber and leafy vegitables with joy.
