Are you into politics?

With the presidential elections coming up next year we are going to be smothered in coverage of the elections. Do you get into the hype? I sure don't. Now that I'm a little older, I pay a little more attention as far as what each candidate plans to do with his 4 years in office, but I tell you, I don't have a lot of faith anymore in them. I hear all this talk, but I don't see results. And I don't care if you are a Democrat or Republican, I want to see you actually DO something. And there is LOTS to be done. I want to see someone get into office and actually make me say, "WOW, this guy (or gal) is the real deal. I think we may actually see something good get done." I'm ready for someone to actually make changes that benefit the country, not just parade around the White House getting a big ego. I'm ready for someone to restore my faith in people, cuz I tell ya, I'm losing the faith.
