Let's hear it for the boys!!

Okay, I know this is goofy but I am soo proud of the men in my life right now. We had major flood damage the beginning of August, a contractor that just ticked me off so we had him fix what we couldn't and decided to try to do the rest ourselves. In the last week my hubby, his dad, my dad, and a friend of my husbands have installed new windows, re-sided part of the house and rebuilt the downstairs from the foundation in, including the wiring!! All that's left is drywall and flooring! I am so proud of them, and never imagined they would get all this done in such a short time. Pretty soon my oldest will have a new bedroom and the little ones will have their toy room, they included a new home office for me and life may get back to normal. Let's hear it for the boys! And Home Depot....LOL

Good for you! Way to go guys!!!! You are lucky to have guys that can do that for you. Hope everything turns out the way you had pictured. Contractors can be such a pain sometimes.

Wonderful! I am super proud of them also! My sig, other is a huge handyman—He is a mason (brick/block/concrete) and carpenter by trade- but also dabbles in whatever else the house needs. I love it when people come together to fix something- That is what family and friends are for.
I hope it’s all done soon and your life gets back to normal!

That's great, soccermom! It's wonderful to have a hubby and family who are handy like that. Contractors can really break you and it's so frustrating waiting around for them to show up!

So who's in? hehe remember that everything can be done successfully if there's a team work and not just only one who's working, it should be a team.
That's why your house was build in that short time and you really should be proud of your guys there!
