hi Honesty. I have been wearing glases since the age of 7. When I went to change my glasses earlier this year the specialist told me that one of my eye -this vision had actually improved but the damaged one was the same. WIth glasses I see better and I have less headaches and eyeaches so yes in my case it helps and no one should take anyone's word for gospel but should indeed get the opinion of their specialist. I can hardly see anything that is not really near so I guess I have to say it does help me.

I don't know about anyone else, but when I got glasses, I could actually SEE, and my school marks improved, simply because I didn't have to strain to see what was written on the board. Glasses aren't supposed to fix the problem with your eyes, since the problem is a misshapen , just to help compensate. And, no, they won't make your eyes worse. if you need glasses, go get them before you fall and really hurtyourself
