How much time do you spend online (really)?

Well I admit that I am addicted. The internet is a great cure for the boredom dis-ease and I must admit that I spend a lot of time searching the web for nothing in particular just to pass the time. How much time do you spend online on average? Do you think that your addicted? I feel connected to everyone when I am online, although nothing beats the real thing I find that being online is a great escape to the trials and tribulations of living in the real world on a day to day basis. We all need an escape from time to time. It's not so much about the escape but about the control. I can do anything, be anyone, find anyone and anything online. How do you feel about the internet and the amount of time you spend surfing or chatting?

I sometimes spend to much time online. That could be why my hours are switched around. I stay on untill about 4-5 in the morning then go to sleep.

I spend quite a bit of time online. I like to read comics, look up information on random things, and in general wander around. I think I have spent anywhere from half an hour to 3 hours per day online.

Wandering around and looking up random things is one of my favorite pastimes. In fact, that is how ended up finding My Lot. I have found so many interesting things and I think I spend so much time online because I know there are so many other unique things out there that I have yet to discover. I want to know and find it all!

I spent 2 to 4 hours on weekdays searching in the net and on the time that I feel bored doing my office works. Switching from my work and the net give me some energy and new information, ideas as well. It is some kind of refreshing the mind set.

It's amazing if you think about how many people work with computers on a daily basis. I still wonder what the future will be like as technology becomes more advanced.

I know what you mean. I could probably go without it if I had to of course but it's nice knowing that I have the world at my fingertips. There is just SO much to do and learn about online.

I am basically on line the whole day from 9 am to 6:30 PM,Internet has been a part of my office life, I log in upon arrival and log off when about to go home. Internet is a blessing,it made work easier, imagine doing research without the internet, that would mean I will have to go to libraries, search for published newspapers and so on and on.. I seldom do chatting though only once in a while and mostly it;s also work related. The personal thing i get from being online the whole day is that I can check mylot from time time.

Time spent online - I'm a certified online addict. I can spend all day, 18+ hours on MyLot typing away answering questions and posting my own. I also post pics by the pile.

Yeah i think im addicted too. Im more addicted to mylot though. Im online probably 4 or 5 hours a day when im off from work. And probably most of that time is spent on mylot. I usually get online because im bored and cant find anything else to do. I think i spend way too much time online. But i know i will never cut back on that time. Not for now at least.

I sometimes try to spend an entire evening here and there doing something other than going online. I'll watch T.V instead but then I suddenly hear about something ( a news story ect,) that makes me want to run back to computer and research or write about it! lol

About 10 hours daily.I know it seems probably too much, but it is only possibility for me to keeep in touch with my friends, who are so far from me.Also watch my own tv, read magazines in my language and now the best feature, earn some money. Yeah maybe I am addicted, but that's fine with me.I cannot imagine spend time better like here on the internet, while I cannot work.

Yes the internet is great for people that need to work at home. I also love meeting people from all over the world. There is not much you can't do online. I think this is why so many of us are addicted. :-)

I spend at least three hours online daily, checking my mails, checking my money making sites, surfing and chatting. But there are times when I stay for more than that, sometimes I reach six hours if I have many friends online that I'm chatting with especially those I haven't talk or chat with for a long time. It is a really great way of curing your boredom. I used to be a chat addict and I used to spend at least five hours a day chatting. I will start in the evening and will be able to sleep early in the morning, I sometimes even fall asleep in front of my computer.

Five hours daily, which is much considering that I am a student. Spend most of my time on My Lot, message boards and on blogging. I also do the occasional satire sites and online magazines. It's not games and movies for me, but reading and social networking. It can be addictive.

Sounds like a lot of fun. My Lot has certainly got me back into writing again. I was never even into the whole blogging scene until this year.

I am addicted as well to being online I must admit. I know I was very upset when my internet connection kept messing up and I wasn't able to get online. I usually spend most of my extra time online aside from cleaning, cooking, and working. It is just so many things you can do online. Since I have been earning money, it has become even more addicting to make money sitting on my butt watching tv at home. It amazes me...

Oh well when it comes to surfing the internet, I tend to surf for about 3 or more hours a day. I would say I'm kinda addicted to it. There's so much stuff in internet. How can you avoid surfing if theres a lot of stuff you can see . Plus you can also communicate with other people.
