Do you read "YOUR DAY TODAY" from newspaper/daily calender/internet?

There were times when i regularly read my fortune before going to school from the daily calenders while tearing off the pages of the previous day.But things never happened with me as said in the calender fortune and slowly i gave up the habit.
But after sometime i started it again and felt interested to read the matter publlished against my zodiac sign in newspapers.It will be written in a detailed way when compared to calenders.I just simply read and sometimes things happen as said and sometimes they dont match with it and turn out very bad.
But if anything is stated as to keep precaution while am making any new decision, arguing with someone this " your day today" lines just flashes before my eyes when its said that 'i need to be very careful while arguing and so..on...
I know some people who take this quite seriously and believe this so much.I should say i have a complete dilemma over this whether to belive or not.
Do you have this habit of reading..just for teh sake of knowing whats written or against the strong belief you have for this?

Yes, mostly out of fun and sometimes out of curiosity but not with belief or staunch follower of astrology. But my wife does and she takes extraordinary interest in such things. In fact she spends more time, taking the horosocope of family members and meet astrologer to know about each and every person in the family and convey the information to them. Needless to say they also have keen interest in her utterings.
In my daily horosocope, it says financial gain. I get Rs.50/- that day and not Rs.5 million!! So you can trust the horoscope to an extent and do not expect the quantitative anlysis andm ost things happen even if you do not read horoscope. I have seen people withshowing the horoscope, they don ot take any important decision in their life.

Hai subathra, Do you know that Amitah's brother came to Bangalore to see a famous astrologer with horoscope of Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai before the marriage to find out whether their married life will be alright. It is believed that the astrologer had indicated that some pooja had to be carried out to ward off some evils.In India lakhs of people do not believe but there are crores who believe.

Dear Suba, u must be doing well,
well i regret to say that i am not much fond of reading such stuff and dont believe in Palmistry, if it woild be true then why we were in dilema, every thing must be known well b4 time.
Well i read it very oftem but they are never true, honestly tell me that they wrote few lines in new paper and All people having that Zodic sign have same fate of the day.
it means only 12 tyres of incident happen.
Well, i believe every person has its own luck and fate, and rest is its own hand, hard work

A very sensible reply.common ..iam a cool headed person..i am not disappointed as myself dont have much belief as you can see that from my post itself.i just read and keep going with my work and dont rely upon or act with what said in it.rated you plus....

Well suba, u r right u have to see the life logically as well as belifs of ur relegion.
And it does not mean i am denying the study of palmistry or astrolgy, its there but proper knowledge to read them and comprehend them is not easy. other thing if u notice the cris cross lines in ur hands are changing. So it meand efforts u r doing, ur luck is reshaping ur life which u dont know.
So again work hard and aim ur target and rest leave to Allah

Hmmm, u mean u wabt to checkj at the day end that how much matching u had in ur day spent and narrated in ur daily horroscope to satisfy ur curiosity.
but what are ur finding after doing this practice?
how much u think its OK and how much u say "forget it"

A Very Good discussion indeed!
I do not read about 'my day today' regularly in the newspaper. But sometimes, I see it late in the evenings and try to match the daily predictions with my actual happenings. I find the most of them do not tally with the actual happening of the day. So I do not take the predictions seriously, even if I have read it in the morning. I think it cannot be true for each and every person, chances of coming it right is 50-50, so I think for those whose predictions match with the actual happenings, tend to believe these kind of predictions and see it everyday.

oh,that is really very interesting,my mother believe this very much.i remember when i was at home on my holiday,and decided to go back to school on a specific day,she looked at the calender and said to me,no,you couldnt go anywhere that day,it's your unlucky day.although i dont believe this at all,i still put off my day,i dont want to make my mother worried about me coz i know,if you believe in this,you will have a strong feeling about it and take it very important.
sometimes i test my fortune on the internet,just for fun,i found it a way of relax.

no i don't read horoscopes or listen to fortune telling because i believe it is not from God. our lives are in God's hand, not in some fortune cookie. we should live our lives according to the laws of the bible, not on what the horoscope says.

Not all the times I read my fortune on daily newspapers or tabloids. I just pass by on it and I don't really rely on what it says. The future still lies on my hand and it is me who make and decide my fate and destiny. Taking some optimistic value on it will somehow help or guide me on accomplishing things successfully.
