I mean if you want to audition in a show and you have crooked teeth..is it okay to push through or you'll just waste your time because they will certainly look for someone else far more beautiful?

Personally, I really actually feel that if you honestly think that you could eventually get the role you're auditioning for, and you fully believe in yourself because you have what it takes to be the next _______ (kindly provide the appropriate role you're auditioning for), then I absolutely urge you to audition, regardless of your appearance, precisely since it's I really think that it is well worth the try. After all, you'll never know, unless you try, right? To be sure, self-doubt is quite healthy, since I believe that it somehow serves as an additional motivational factor that could easily drive you to even better yourself, if only to remove such self-doubt. However, your doubts must not get the better of you chiefly because, as a living, breathing human being, you certainly still have so much to offer, whether you're aware of it or not. A crooked teeth, to my mind, is simply just that--a triviality that you should not really focus your energies on. Instead of entertaining negative thoughts and putting too much attention on your crooked teeth, spend your precious time more on preparing very hard for the auditions and focusing on all the positive things in you to essentially motivate yourself better. In the end, I could really only wish you the very best of luck in your auditions. Just believe in yourself, lonely_f16.

It all depends on what show you are talking about auditioning for. I think that bb is one that picks a mix of beauties and regular people. I do think that you have to be older though. If you are talking american idol, I have seen some pretty scary looking teeth on that show so it isn't a factor.

i experienced this scenario before. i have a jacket and i want to apply as a stewardess. one of the qualifications needed is that the applicant must have a good set of teeth. and i was like thinking a million time if i will get there and apply or i'll pass. i did pass. very sad experience indeed. anyway, i will love the job i know but i'll see if next time, im getting there.

First off I did notice you age is 16. Not sure about the laws or TV rules where you live but in the US you are too young to be on certain shows. So, with that being said and with you being so young maybe you can get your teeth straighteded and when you become of age you will have that behind you and can flash that beautiful smile at everyone to see. If you are talking about Big Brother as we have seen it don't matter what a person looks or acts like as long as they bring in the ratings but again you are too young for that show. Hope you make it on which ever show you want to be on in the future.

What type of show are you talking about? Are you talking about the Big Brother show? If so, then it depends really on what the show writer wants at that time. You never know if they are looking for your type of charisma. Etc. You just need to try. It's better than not having tried at all. As for other shows, it depends on what they are looking for. If the center of the attention is with the teeth, then that's not good for you. But if they're looking for other skills that you are certain you poses then you're on the right track. =) But I'd suggest you get your teeth fixed. I can sense you are quite insecure about it and it causes you to have low-self esteem. Why don't you get them fixed so that they wouldn't hinder or limit you to achieving your happiness? Good Luck!

I think it depends on the show. I also think that if you're a really good actor, having a crooked teeth wouldn't matter. They can always do something about your looks on tv. That's the magic of make-up!
