Did you have the chicken pox when you were young?

Have you already had this disease and experienced the itching that went along with it?Have you had another kind like measles,etc? If you never had it,do you think you never will get it? Ive had it so i canot get it again,but my daughter and my boyfriend never did. I think it would be kind of funny,a grown up man getting it!lol. Do you have some little scars from scratching?:)

I have never ever had it or if I did it never showed. I was always taken to play with kids that had it I sleped with my sister in same bed when she had it I was even taken to aduls who had it so I can catch it but I never did. Test show that I have the virus in me (everyone should have it if they had the chicken pox thats how we dont catc it more than once)

Hi,its the same as my daughter.She never had it but was around alot that did and she still never caught it.I started thinking that she was immune to it or something.You never know though.:)

I think the doctors said to me that most likely I have had it but it didnt show (probably just high temp or something) as I have the virus in me it showes that I must have had it at some point as it could not be from the imunisation.

Hi peanutjar!
I remember having the chicken pox when I was a kid and I remember how bad they itched. My mom put me in the tub with warm water and baking soda to take away the itch. It must have worked as I have no scars from itching them!

Hi!Your lucky!My grand mother never and i have some little round scars from scratching too much!Just like a monkey with fleas.LOL:)

Hi there, what's been up to lately buddy?
Well, i had my Chicken Pox when i was 9 years old and i remember i was in Grade 3 i think and i wasn't able to go to school for almost 2weeks.
Thank God that all the scars that my chicken pox made on me was vanished as time goes by.
It is a good thing to have Chicken pox when we're young than have it if we're kinda older like 12 to 16 years old as it would be dangerous if we have Chicken Poz between that ages.

Oh yes it is better to get it when we are young.My boyfriend never had it though and hes not looking forward to the day our daughter brings it home.lol:):)

My mom told me that I got it when I was like 6 months old. It was a very mild case, so I guess I have a chance of getting it again. Neither one of my kids have had it yet either. I am not looking forward to the day when they do that is for sure.

I had it when i was 13 years old.I too hope my daughter does not catch it,but she was at a kindergarden this summer and there was 2 kids that had the virus.She never got it,but 2 others did.Weird.:)
