Too hot or too cold? Which do you prefer?

Unfortunately climates can be very extreme. In the summer it's too hot. In the winter it's too cold. Go to one part of the world and it's too hot. Go to another part of the world and it can be too cold.
Being in the Philippines I'm more used to hot weather, but sometimes it's just too much and we have to spend a lot of money for airconditioning. Otherwise it's hard to sleep because your clothes are wet from perspiration. And electricity is not exactly cheap here in our country, thanks to the crooks running Napocor.
What about you? Do you prefer too hot or too cold?

I cant take to much cold wheather.I think i rather be to hot than to cold.In the winter im like a bear.I hibernate.lol Im in the house unless i just have to go somewhere and its very important.

I think I would prefer a hot to a cold climate. I had the opportunity to stay in China for 3 years where I experienced their winter and I must say that I just cannot take the cold. It's so troublesome to bundle up layers of clothes everytime I want to go out. Taking a bath is also not looked forward to. The worse thing is,winter can stretch on for more than 3 months.

It really depends. I like cold weather but not frigid cold weather. I have asmtha and it is hard to breath in really frigid cold weather. I also am showing signs of arthritis. I like the warmth of the sun but hate really humid hot weather as again it is hard on the asthma. I used to live in the desert and really liked the dry heat.
It is hard to stay cool in super hot weather but can always put on more clothes or coats in cold weather. I like spring and fall the best.

As an asthmatic myself, I have the same trouble with very hot or very cold. The cold tightens up the chest and the hot humid stuff makes it feel like you can't get real air in you lungs... Whit

I perfer the cold then the hot. Even though I hate the cold I still perfer it the the hot weather because at least when its cold then you can cover your self up by putting on more shirts or jackets or mittens and what not. When the weather is hot its hard to stay cool really the only thing you can do is stay out of the sun and drink licquids or by one of those mini pccket fans which is what I want lol.

I guess it all depends. But since we like to ski and sled we really like the cold winters. Plus its fun to stay inside by the fire and drink hot cocoa or schnapps when its snowing out. I think the cold is romantic too. But I like summer too: laying out, warm nights. I guess I just like to have good distinct seasons. That way, about the time you get sick of winter and snow, spring is coming anyway. And at the end of summer, when you cna't take the hot anymore, the crisp fall evenings come around.

Not a huge fan of either, but I think it is fair to say that I hate the cold more - that feeling when it is so cold than you cannot feel your hands and feed properly and your ears hurt is truly miserable.

I don't cope well when it gets too hot! I always find it's far easier to warm up than it is to cool down, my body functions better in the cold and I feel the heat more. So I much rather it is too cold. Here in the UK we have humidity and don't have the intense heat other countries have.

Yeah it seems that our weather are indeed quite the extremes of both hot and cold. Although I would say more of the hot season since this period is supposed to be cold but the weather is not that cold these past few days. As far as the climate is concerned I would chose from November to early March as this is the part of the season that its not too hot.

If it's too hot or too cold outside, I'm inside in climate controlled weather! I can't take either one. We've been looking for that perfect climate here in the U.S. and have yet to find somewhere that has moderate temperatures the majority of the time. but I have to say, here in Nevada we had temperatures in the 70's yesterday and we couldn't believe our luck. We moved here for the long spring and fall seasons, but the summers can be unbearable.

I would rather be too hot. I live in a climate that is very cold for several months and it's not any fun to be outside or do anything but huddle under blankets with multiple layers of clothes on. I hate that so I'd much rather it be hot outside.

Thanks Disva and Buggy. Not only is it boring when it's too cold, it's also more dangerous to be driving because the roads are slippery. Visibility is also reduced during snowfall.

I am not sure which one I would choose. but you are right if you live somehwere where it is just too hot, you have to pay a lot of monye for air conditioning and also i feel like i cannot really breath, when it is too hot. Also there is so much humidity and I don't like it. I think too cold would be just better for me, because yous till can put more clothes on you and the air is just different it is better for breathing.
