nowadays in china, more and more people concern on this discussion.some show sympathy to them, while some others oppose.the problem is, a lot of gays or lesbian are not born to be that kind,it seems that they just take it as a popular thing.some talk about it excessively in public places.i wonder what they want to get by acting that way, attracting attention or overconfident,or any idea can't be analysis? have you ever contact with them, what do you think about this situation.

How do you know that they are not born this way? Are you somehow qualified to say this? Because there is a lot of evidence to the contrary. http://nymag.com/news/features/33520/ This article outlines some of the research that indicates that homosexuality is not a choice. I think the question really is, how does it affect you if someone chooses to love in a different way to what you do?

That is true, I don't know the situation in China. But I don't see how you know that people are just doing it for a trend or whether they are "truly" homosexual. I don't see why you should judge whether they have a "clear mind" or not. What difference does it make to you?

I feel that people are born with a gene that makes them feel this way. It is inherit. I have a daughter who is transgender and is now living as a man. It was strange at first, but now I can't picture him/her anyway but the way that he is. He stated that he felt that way since he was in kindergarten. It is a big squabble in my family because some people don't believe him, but as his mother, I do.

Good on you for being so understanding. I have a friend who is transgendered who had to leave home because his parents couldn't understand.
