If you were in jail, who would you contact with your one phone call?

I've never been in jail and I don't plan to be. But if I were, and I had one phone call, I'd call my dad. I know he would get a lawyer if needed, and if I were wronGly in jail, he'd post bail for me. If I deserved to be there though, he'd let me stay to learn my lesson. Gotta love the tough love parents, LOL. So if you were in jail and you got that one phone call, who would you call?

Well Ambiepam, I'll call my partner, as I wouldn't want to worry my parents. They both have medical conditions that such a call from me might cause a hart failure, or a celebral stroke, so I wouldn't do it. If I didn't have my partner however, it will be a tough call as I have no brothers and sisters either. TheFortunes

I've never been in jail and I don't do things or go to places that would make me likely to go to jail. But you never know, innocent people go to jail all the time. But I would call my hubby first, then my daughter, then my dad if I needed to. He used to work for the Sherriff's Dept. so he would know what to do. Your dad sounds like mine, he too would make me stay overnight if I was doing something that I shouldn't be doing. He practiced tough love all the time.

Yeah, my dad is kind of 'you do the crime, you do the time', no matter if it is his daughter or not. Fortunately, I don't think he'll ever have to worry about it. : )

if i were in jail..i would call my mom..coz i cant live without her and she will definately find a solution for me to come out of the jail..! that doesnt meant hat my dad wont help me.. but still i feel that i will speak to my mom and moreover if i speak to anyone of my parents, they will convey the message to others..so i will speak to my mom..another reason for me talking ot my mom is that my mom understands me very well..so i can convey things to her very easily n my dad too loves n cares n understands me very well but i dont think that he can convey the same to my mom preoperly..so i would love to speak to my mom and also she will somehow make me comfortable..!!

My mom would bail me out - This is my mom, who understands me better than my dad, and would do everything possible to get me out.
I understand. My parents love me equally, as I do for them, but my mom understands me better.

I haven't got a CLUE! I guess my brother, tho what he could do I don't know. I also don't know why I'd be in jail - I'm such a big scaredy cat. I guess if I killed someone in self defense - do they put you in jail for that?

I would have no clue what I'd be in for either. I can't think of anything illegal I'd do. I would either assume I was jailed falsely, or maybe that I'd unintentionally jaywalked, and the jail was so empty, they felt the need to imprison the jaywalkers. : )

Hi There Amber! I'm finally caught up LOL! I don't ever plan to be in jail either, but if I were the first person I would call would be my husband. If I know him, if I were wrongly in jail he would get me out, of course, but he would get a good laugh out of it because he is a monkey LOL. Have a great day hon! Shelia

I would call my brother. At our present condition at home, my parents are ill, I can't let them know everything bad about me. I just pray that being in jail won't happen to me. I know the Lord will heal my parents. I hate it when I am not able to tell my parents about a situation because I love them and I love to share everything in all honesty. Now I am glad I can lie to them, to protect them from hurting. I know its not good to lie.

If I was in jail, the one person I would call would be my girlfriend, known as shushicook here, and I would call her because she is the most importend person in my life. And I know that she would get me through i all, and she will always be there for me, as I will for her

Well I guess it would have to be my partner - otherwise he might start to wonder where I was, and where his dinner was! LOL! I'd also have to remind him to feed the cats! And - also - on a more serious note - he is a very practical, together sort of person - he would know who to call and what to so for the best, and how to get me out of there quickly. And he's always stand bail for me!

I'd call my mom or Bruce. Both knows that I wouldn't do anything worth going to jail for. Yes, I would call one of them. Bruce would know what to do to help me.

I do not want to ever end up in this position. But, if ever, I would hope that someone could give me the name and number of an excellent criminal lawyer. I would not call my family. Both of my sisters would give birth and neither one of them is pregnant. They would not be able to handle their baby sister being in jail.

I hope I never have to go to jail, but if I ever did, I'd call my husband, because I know he'd get me out right away. You never know what might happen. Once my husband got arrested, taken to the police station, and fingerprinted because he had the same name as another guy who was always getting into trouble. He was able to get out and come home. It was a terrifying experience for me, but he was pretty cool about it. He did have to go to court and prove that he was not the person they wanted. I remember some lawyer at the courthouse told him he should change his name.

Well, I would say that I would call my husband, but we don't exactly have bail money, so my call would go to my mama. She would bail her baby out of jail.:)
