That you can get raped, that someone will mess up your car, or the cheap flesh is not a magnet for a truck driver anymore? Why the fashion of travelling on autostop has passed? Did you need such travelling or you just wanted some excitement? Did you receive it? Is it scary or it's just not presstigous? As a driver do you allow anyone who waves at you to get into your car? Share your most funny story that happened to you on the road or by it.

What is autostop. I assume you mean hitch-hiking. If that is the case, I don't do it, and I don't stop for them either. But not because I think I am to good to do so, or anything like that. I won't pick up a stranger mainly because I always have my kids with me, and because that also means that I have no room. But I just don't trust strangers. My husband on the other hand, as long as he doesn't have the kids in the car, will stop and pick up a stranger, just because he has been in the same position with vehicles breaking down in the middle of nowhere

Thank you for your answer. I do think in the same way. By the way I meant hitch-hiking. I just didn't know the right word. I don't use dictionaries that's why.
